Tzeentch Models

With the release of the Traitor Legions book, I decided to start a Tzeentch army (because three chaos marine armies aren't enough).  The low model count allows me to try out colors that I don't normally use, and go into detail that I don't normally have time for.

With the new chaos books arriving I have decided to start a Tzeentch army; because three chaos armies aren't enough.  Unfortunately, my first two games went terribly.  My first game, I didn't have any board control and got bottled into a corner.  The second game, I summoned as many squads of pink horrors as I could and had great board control.  Unfortunately this left me with almost no warp charges to cast witchfires and I only ended up killing one unit the whole game.

Daemonkin Troops

I played against my good friend Cameron this weekend.  He brought Blood Angels with allied Skitarii and I brought Crimson Slaughter with allied Daemons.  This time around I wanted to try something out of the ordinary, so I settled on a list that was pretty much just a horde or Nurgle.

Yesterday I picked up Codex Khorne Daemonkin.  I have no desire to start a Khorne army (praise be to Nurgle).  If this book is any indication of things to come, then I am excited for the future of chaos.

Math By Request: Bloodthirster Vs Imperial Knight

One of the regular readers, Mundo, made a request for some calculations related to the new bloodthirster of insensate rage fighting an Imperial Knight.  When I took this on I thought, "Oh this is going to be easy."  After a few hours days all I can say is that destroyer weapons are painful for more than just their target.
