Stormcast Terminator

I love making conversions.  They break up some of the monotony of hobbying, and they give you an opportunity to have models that are completely unique.  Currently I am working on converting some Stormcast Eternals into Daemonkin Terminators.

Start of Summer

Now that summer has arrived, I am back on my extreme painting schedule.

Drop Pod Conversion and A New HQ

After a bit of a dry spell I finally got around to finishing my drop pod.

Removing paint: An Advanced Technique

Many of my models are repurposed models from second and third edition.  Over the years I have tried a variety of techniques to removed paint from both plastic and metal models. The most common method is soaking your models in Simple Green or Purple Power for several days and then going at them with a toothbrush and warm water.  Today I have a new technique for anyone wishing to expedite the process.

Year in Painting: 2015

At the end of last year I did a summary of my year in painting, and I set some goals for myself for 2015.  It is time to check and see how I did with my self imposed goals.

Reinforcements En Route

This weekend I got together with one of my longtime friends for an afternoon of assembling, converting, and beer.

Dissapointment

My scheduled games got cancelled this weekend.  Sometimes life happens.  Khorne is angry, but I will get a game with the new codex in soon.  To appease you all I took some pictures of one of my favorite models, my Nurgle corrupted vendetta.

Landraider Complete

With one day of decent weather this week, I managed to get my landraider clear-coated.  The finishing touchers were added, and everything is complete.

A Vile Creation

These past two weeks have lit a fire in my painting.  I am finally *finished* with my landraider!  *Almost.  I still have to clear coat the model and use the dry pigments, but all of the major legwork is done.  However, with the way the weather is looking I may not be able to clear coat for another week.

With this completed I am now one squad of Kroot (for a friend) away from expanding my traitor guard force.  I am hoping to have them done by Friday when we get together for a game.
