Korne Daemonkin or Warband?

Over the past year I have been collecting a Khorne Daemonkin army, but the new Traitor Legions book has given me a new way to represent my force. A World Eaters warband has some exciting new rules, but how do they compare the the Khorne Daemonkin?

Blood For the Blood God!

In the past, I have been hesitant to ally an army to my daemonkin.  Non-Daemonkin units don't generate blood tithe points.  To get around this issue, you can attach a daemonkin character to any unit that is a battlebrother, and they will gain the ability to generate blood tithe points with their kills.

Knight of Khorne

After a long month, and many hours at the painting table, my renegade knight of Khorne is complete!

Expanding Daemonkin

As I push forward with my Khorne Daemonkin I have begun to develop a gameplan that is a bit more than, "make an army that looks REALLY good."  The recent addition of renegade knight rules has me itching to build one (or two), and I wanted to design a force with a knight as the centerpiece.

Khorne!

I have been hard at work painting and converting models from the Age of Sigmar starter set over the past few weeks.  Here are my results.

Brawl! Imperial Knight Vs Lord of Skulls

Once again, we have two giant monsters punching each other in the face.  In the blue corner, we have an Imperial Knight!  Nobel, honorable, and armed with a very large chainsword.  In the very very red corner, we have the Lord of Skulls!  Let's see how these two stand up to each other

Weekend League

This weekend I got together with my friend to play some games and establish the rules for our ongoing league.

Daemonkin Troops

I have been toying with the idea of building a Khorne Daemonkin army for a while.  Since I am finally about to pull the trigger I decided to start analyzing the daemonkin units to figure out what is most effective.  I decided to start with troops since they form the core of any army.

Meat for the Meat Grinder: A Khorne Daemonkin Battle Report

Yesterday I played a game against one of my good friends, Phil, who has recently gotten back into 40k.  He was trying out a Dark Eldar list and I decided to play around with Khorne Daemonkin.

Khorne Daemonkin Battlereport

I finally got to play a game with the new Khorne Daemonkin.  It was a bloodbath, so both Khorne and myself were pleased.

Khorne Daemonkin: Formations and a Sample List

I hope that this codex is a snapshot of things to come.  The combination of a unique detachment with multiple formations adds an incredible amount of flavor to an army.  I want this same kind of treatment for the armies I actually play.

Khorne Daemonkin: Unit Reviews

I have had a chance to read over the unit descriptions a few times, and I have compiled my thoughts on the matter.

Khorne Daemonkin: Initial Impressions

Yesterday I picked up Codex Khorne Daemonkin.  I have no desire to start a Khorne army (praise be to Nurgle).  If this book is any indication of things to come, then I am excited for the future of chaos.
